Great to go into a new year with a renewed sense of wonder. Take a look at this simply amazing flash production, complete the game and most importantly, gawk at the video at the end. Wow. My brain feels staid from just observing creative people like that.

Well, found an article by a Nobel prize winner (he’s currently at the awards dinner actually) that goes directly against the grain of my previous post.

Was trying to check the conditions for applying for an award from school, and wanted to use the word ‘disimburse’, as in ‘is the award automatically disimbursed?’ which was a nice way of asking ‘eh walau by-invitation only isiiiiit’.
Anyways Microsoft informed me there wasn’t such a word. Merriam Webster Online Dictionary told me the same thing too. But Google quietly informed me I wasn’t .
Or did we get the word totally wrong? Checked ‘disemburse’ too. Supposedly not a word.
Update: Oh, this blog’s spell check just told me the word is DISBURSED. OMGSONOOB. Microsoft gave ‘disembark’ and ‘disabuse’.
Update: Oh, I think lots of people in Singapore schools (cos of study awards) use disimbursed because they think its a natural flip of REIMBURSE. Poks.
Couldn’t resist the urge to check out the sale, so I quick-walked over at 4.50pm!
Prices were okayyyy only, 2 belts for $100 and 2 shirts for $150. Found a really nice brown belt! But the sizes were all too small! So POKS!
Had to quick-walk back in disappointment.

Apparently the first 100 days of a new government are crucial, and the new S.Korean cabinet is offering to quit just 107 days into their job.
Even a rockstar CEO cannot control people power.
